Diary, 1863.

Diary, April 28-June 27, 1863, of a corporal in Co. H, 2nd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, concerning camp life, hospitals, morale, and assessments of campaigns and officers, and including detailed descriptions of the battles of Chancellorsville, Fredericksburg, Second Bull Run, and a later description of Gettysburg. Also includes a sketch map of northeastern Virginia and Maryland. The photographs are of Brown in his uniform and a portrait of Brown.
